He is moving through his 3 year treatment of difficult chemotherapy. Through advances made over the last 35 years, in treating childhood leukemia, he has an excellent chance for total cure. The money we raise will go to help raise the cures of all children cancers. The book, entitled "Bouncing Back, Thriving in Changing Times", is a conglomeration of expiring real life experiences and methods to overcome life’s challenges.
We are donating all the net proceeds of the book to the Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Center in Long Beach, California. Dr. Jerry Finklestein and his world class team, Dr. Ramesh Patel, Dr. Paula Groncy, and Dr. David Simon are on the forefront of research and treatment and are part of the Chidlren’s Oncology Group, a world wide organization that works together with other pediatric oncologists worldwide to study, research, and improve treatments / outcomes of children afflicted with cancer.
